We are excited to launch our Artist of the Month digital series in collaboration with Wolfsglen restaurant in Westwood – one of LA’s great historical locations.
We start the Artist of the Month with a harmony of movement in the artworks of Anna Bondar. It is a story of the pains of war and glimmers of hope told through tiny threads of color and lights.
Anna Bondar is a contemporary Ukrainian artist in search of her spiritual harmony. In her work, Bondar experiments with different genres, techniques, and materials, and creates her own, immediately recognizable compositional style. For Anna, art is a “language of feelings” — a way to convey that, which cannot be spoken.
Bondar’s work was featured in many Ukrainian exhibitions, as well as the art shows in Dallas, Texas, and Denver, Colorado. When the war broke out, Bondar found out that she was pregnant and decided to relocate to Spain for the sake of her unborn baby. There she created over 120 brand new pieces.
